1. Appreciating  - Looking for and noticing what is best and what is possible within people and the world around me, with the realization that what we appreciate, appreciates. 
2. Inquiring - Intentionally asking about what I want to accelerate, grow, and create in the world. 

Having studied with and continuing to collaborate along side David Cooperrider, Ron Fry, and many other thought-leaders in the field of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) for over 20 years,  I find that everyday (including every conversation with colleagues or my own kids) brings new opportunities for me to practice my appreciatively inquiring skills.
